Horrible experience. We're charged more than originally quoted with reservations fees and selection fees despite not picking our lot. Our "lot" looked out on to scenic trailers and was very windy. Not a tent friendly site at all: no hot water or space to wash dishes, every "service" was at an extra charge. The "beach" is a huge rocky access to mud. There are no nice beaches for miles. So many flies, spiders and dog poop every where. We left early and certainly will not be returning.

We stayed here for three nights June 12,13,14 2017. It was early in the season and there were only a few other campers there. This was our second to last stop after camping our way around the entire coast of Nova Scotia. This spot was the most expensive of all of them, but it was worth every cent. Beautiful view, owner was very friendly and helpful. The ladies in the office were great. The grounds were extremely well maintained. The washrooms and laundry rooms were spotless. They even deliver your firewood to your camp site. So a little more expensive yes, but it was definitely worth it.

Be careful about unauthorized charges to your credit card. We were charged an additional $28 after checking it for a reservation fee, extra person fee, and credit card processing fee. When we tried to address it with the management they advised us that since they are a corporation we would have to email a complaint before any corrective action would be considered.

I agree this is not a tent friendly camp grpund trailer people only! Yes there are hidden fees! I tried to buy a 10$ package of firewood and because I use a debit card to complete my commerce they tried to penilize me another 4$. We were also bullied into booking 3 night for the long weekend when we only wanted two because they were so "booked" when we got there we were completely alone with vacant campsites on either side of the 20 percent grade we slept on. Staff were rude to my children and I had to install the play ground equipment myself because it was so neglected. This place is an embarrassment to the great towns surrounding and ruined the experience for me. Left early without getting a refund for two other nights. Camp ground does not offer a place to was dishes and recommended we go and mooch water from someone on a service lot. Duds all around here please consider this campground as a LAST RESORT!

The surprise "charge" for booking a tent site really angered us as did the demand that we sign a document that our children would behave (we don't have kids) and that we were responsible for damage from fire (we said there would be no fire). We paid top dollar for a tent site - uneven ground and dead trees that we spent a windy night worrying about falling on our tent. Absolutely no dish washing facility. No hot water in the laundry room sink and one pay shower in washroom. This 4 star holiday park has a swimming pool that burns your eyes and tastes and smells like sulphur. No wifi in the tenting area and port-a-loos unless you hike up to washroom. Beach is just slimy boulders - and during our stay there was jack hammering on the waterfront starting at 6 am. To add insult to injury we rode our touring cycles over Parker Mountain to get to and from this place. This is an experience we'd rather forget.
